India 's Story of Castle 'Reservation
A poet says, 'India is sometimes my Contory'. Because it has many proud full things, at the same time it has things which are most bad things in the world for example caste discrimination and Caste system, Untouchablities,female discrimination etc.And Indian's consider them as holly and religious things ! God made things! And world uses to laugh to the mindset of India's.
Prehistoric India
In the Prehistoric time it is said by Indians as Satyayug , Dwaparyug ,Kaliyug etc.In that line 'The Kaliyug' is last and their will born 'Kalki' as last 'Avatar' and in 'Kaliyug' people will follow all types of negative practices ,like cheating,drinking wine,looting,quarrellig to each other, usinging ugly words,woman's will be rapped very cruelty, murders will be daily part of their life,son will beat father and mother, their will be no respect to elders in house and outside the house also. And and as told in Bhagadgita, 'Yadav Yadav hi dharmasya,Glani bhawatu bharath (India),Tadatmanah sadhunam, Dharma sansanthanathaye sambhawami yuge yuge'....
That means 'God will born on Earth to destroy all the sins
And found the rajya of 'Dharma' on the Earth'.This is told by a 'Avatara Shrikishan' in the battle field of 'Kurukshetra' in The holly book as 'Mahabharat to his student ,one of the warriar from Pandav, Arjuna. 'Krishna' was one of the 'Awatara' amond 9 Awataras told , '8th Awatar'

According to this theory in the 10th Mandal of Rigveda, The first warna(a part of people in society ) 'Brahmana' came out from GOD's head,second warna 'Kshatriya' born from the shouders of 'Brahma.'(Purush),Third warma 'Vaishya' born from thighs of 'Brhma' and last warna 'Shudas' borned from the foot of the 'Brahma' (Purush).And the works or duties were divided to four 'Varna' people. Brahmines disided to do the religious practices,the work of 'Kshatriya' to protect the other Warnas from the enemy. ''Vaishya' to do business and farming And all types works remained to do by 'Shudras',to serve the other three 'Warnas',to do all type of dirty works by 'Shudras'.
Caste System
In all four types of 'Warnas,at the starting were divided into caste according to their work and skills. That work became their 'caste'.Then some stories were written in' 'Puranas' for explaining the origin of each caste.Then caste became a complication structures afterwords with a 'hierarchy' of each caste in the system and the status of a caste depended its position in the hierarchy. Most lowest castes were declared 'Untouchable castes.And all type of dirty works were given to them with low income.
Manusmruti
Manusmriti was the book which made laws of the Hindu society. It affected the 'Shudras' and Especially 'Untouchables' vary badly .They were prevented to consume wealth, restricted to take weapons for protection , restricted to build big houses,restricted to wear precious cloths, to wear costly ornaments etc.They became slave of other three 'Warnas'
British as ruler
In the period of British rule, laws of them were from Democracy in evolved in England.They tried them to apply it in India.Some Untouchables got job in 'British' army and chance to take Education.Thousands of years tradition of 'Manu,s' laws were changed politically but remained in society.
Britishers categorised different castes into Sheduled castes,sheduled tribes,criminal castes etc.
Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar's role in eradicating Untouchablity
Ambedkar's movement
against Untouchablility forced Britishers to give some representation to so called Untouchable castes.
In 15 th August 1947 India get freedom from the British rule.Dr.B .R.Ambedkar, made the Constitution of free India. He provisioned Reservation for sheduled castes and sheduled tribes in the Constitution. But having about to 9000 Castes, and sub castes in India more efforts were necessary
to serve and classify the castes which were also affected by the caste system Educationally ,Economically, Socially were backward.
After Dr.Ambedkar's death the question of such castes remained as it is.In ferther period more castes after their protest were get Reservation as Nomadic Tribes,Other backward Classes etc.to them.
Maratha Morcha Movement
As this caste was not well defined and not servyed well but some intelectuals proved that this caste is also according to 'Manusmuti' is in 'Shudra' and economically, Socially and Educationally backward.In last few years ago a big protest was done by 'Marathas Morcha'for their demands.Discussions were done in media and in Intelectuals, in court also.At last on 27 th June Government of Maharashtra declared 13% in Government services and 12% reservation in education for Maratha caste.And 'Maratha Morcha' won the battle.
Future
Many thinkers and intelectuals have dought that the most corrupted politician and beuocracy that the application of the law will be correctly applied or not otherwise the rich people will take facilities and poor people will remained as it is.This had happened to sheduled castes, sheduled tribes,Nomadic Tribes,S.B.C.,O.B.C.,about females Reservation in political system.
Conclusion:
Very Historical decision taken by Maharashtra government but its application should be done properly.
